This catalog is effective for the 2026-2027 academic year. This catalog includes all policies, procedures, and major and course descriptions in effect at the time of publication. USF reserves the right to repeal, change, or modify the policies, procedures, majors, and course descriptions at any time.

The policies and procedures herein have been approved, as appropriate, by the USF Graduate Council Policy Committee and by the full USF Graduate Council, a Standing Committee of the Faculty Senate, and the Office of Graduate Studies. These policies and requirements are applicable to students admitted to a graduate degree program or graduate certificate, and/or non-degree seeking students taking graduate coursework. Undergraduate students should refer to the Undergraduate Catalog, even if taking graduate coursework. It is the student level that dictates which publication governs, not the level of coursework.
